He'll cut you. Or maybe he'll just cut the cake instead.

Sandy.

Sandy is returning to Australia and I will miss him a lot.
A Many-Reasons Cake. Sandy is going back to Australia. DeeAnn is visiting from Australia. Mark is getting his PhD in Law on Saturday.

Really, I need a food stylist to move in with me.
I took extensive notes at the Same-Gender Marriage & Religious Freedom conversation. I put on a white shirt, black pants, and my wing tips. I would have combed my homosexual hair, but it is still pretty short.

Local television reporter Lupita Murillo, a very petite 50-something, moderated the discussion. Rev. Dr. C. Welton Gaddy of the Interfaith Alliance was for same sex marriage. Maggie Gallagher of the National Organization for Marriage was against.

Maggie, Lupita, and Welton.

I sat in the third row, I was one of only three or four homos in the crowd. I don't think the event was particularly well advertised, I only knew about it because I happened across a short blurb in that archaic thing known as a newspaper.

Things I learned about Ms. Gallagher: she doesn't use birth control and she is diabetic. Also, marriage is only for straight people who fuck monogamously and if faggots are allowed to get married then anybody, including two sisters, should be allowed to do so. Even cocksuckers who get married in places like Massachusetts, that's not a real marriage, according to Maggie Gallagher.

Maggie.

The sister thingy did not go over well with the crowd, which was made up mostly of very liberal religious folks. Rev. Dr. Waddy's message of tolerance, separation of church and state, and the need to bring together people of differing viewpoints was much better received. Maggie kept harping on the need for a father in the family (but two fathers=bad), and the "powerful attraction of sex."

I note that although she has been married since 1993, Maggie does not wear a wedding band. What's up with that?

She has lost. She is in it for the money, the fact that she gets to be on television, and her own sorta of martyrdom. But she has lost and she knows it. I tried to feel hatred toward her, but instead I just feel pity that she is wasting her life away. That is pretty pathetic.
I am a sadomasochist. Tomorrow night the Beast, Maggie Gallagher, is dragging her ass to Tucson to yammer about how faggots and dykes would ruin the sanctity of mawwiage if they got to register at Crate and Barrel.

This breathing shit is going to be about two miles from my pleasant domicile, polluting the air, probably making the Pima County Sewer Plant work overtime. And I will sit in the audience and if given the opportunity, ask her an interesting question.

Perhaps:

1). Explain why anyone should listen to you Maggie, when you got yourself knocked up and spat out a bastard child because the semen donor was sensible enough not to put a ring on it?

2). Tell us about that Hindu "husband" and why you don't wear a wedding band?

3). Exactly how much blood money do you get for helping create an atmosphere of hate towards your fellow Americans?

Or maybe I should just projectile vomit on the bitch.
Ohmigolly I am sooooo boring right now.

I spent many hours this weekend working on the two evaporative coolers. Mine is almost working, except I broke a bolt off the motor mount. I'll borrow a drill at work tomorrow and see if I can't remove the broken off piece and put a new bolt in.

Exciting, I know!

Maybe I should make a cake.
Bunny appeared in my yard a couple of months ago. It hops around and eats things. Sometimes it will get close to me, looking for something to eat.

It likes carrots.

So this afternoon I decided to give Bunny a piece of red bell pepper and it ran up and took it right out of my hand. So I gave it another piece, and it did the same. The third time I offered it some lettuce and reached down and picked Bunny up.

Bunny is perhaps not so pleased with this.

So I sat Bunny on my lap and practiced petting, examining ears, checking out its private bits (Bunny is a girl).

Ready for my close up.

She didn't want to eat anything while sitting on my lap, but she is pretty tame and doesn't mind being petted and talked to. I will be spoiling Bunny from now on.
Ohmigollygee. Just when you think it couldn't get any more bizarre in Racistzona.

The State Legislature sent a bill to the governor that would prevent any ethnic-studies in our state schools. And the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tom Horne, LOVES IT. Schools could not have lessons that would:

- promote resentment toward a race or class of people
- are designed primarily for pupils of a particular ethnic group
- advocate ethnic solidarity instead of treating pupils as individuals.

If followed strictly, history teachers would not be able to discuss slavery (promotes resentment towards the mostly white slave owners).

No Black History Month, no classes to teach Native Americans their native languages.

Basically, White=good, everyone else must assimilate.

Jesusfuckingchrist...
